Update ESET NOD32 / Smart Security without an internet connection
ESET NOD32 Offline Updater allows installing a full signature database update into any location. Once they have been installed, the definitions can be used to update a product locally, or - more likely - ported to another computer that needs updating and is not connected to the internet.

- Updates : ESET NOD32 Antivirus / Smart Security 3 and 4 (32-bit / 64-bit, all editions)
When installation has completed, the update source - referred to by ESET as 'update server' - should be properly set within the ESET configuration panel prior to updating the software (please refer to ESET Help file). The product can then be updated offline from that location from ESET tray icon (right-click --> Update).
ESET NOD32 Offline Updater includes the latest version of update files obtained directly from ESET update servers. The installer expands original and unmodified update files into any user specified folder (default is C:\Update). It does not modify user's Windows registry by any means.
The definitions can be used to update a product locally, or - more likely - ported to another computer that needs updating and is not connected to the internet.
Note : Username and/or password are not required on the target computer to update the product.
