ESET SysInspector is a free, state of the art diagnostic tool for
Windows systems. A new stand-alone version of ESET SysInspector
diagnostic tool, v1.2.0.26, has been released. It allows an in depth
analysis of various aspects of your operating system, including running
processes, registry content, startup items and network connections. ESET
SysInspector represents an invaluable utility which makes dealing with
malware infected system easier. An option allows a system analysis while
excluding all private data as well as generating log files from the
gathered data which can be sent to support experts for further analysis
and threat evaluation.

ESET Sysinspector is mainly intended to be a powerful resource for
ESET's support specialists further increasing their competence to
resolve customer issues, but it is aimed to provide a complex system
overview as well. In other words, this application is useful not just
for administrators or IT experts but also for business- and home users.
Features
- Service Script: This new functionality available to users using
SysInspector integrated in ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 helps with
cleaning of nasty infiltrations which cannot be removed using regular
procedures. The user can submit a SysInspector log to ESET Support
online directly from the interface of version 4 products. After this log
is checked by ESET´s support specialist a custom text script (Service
Script) is prepared for a particular infiltration and sent back to the
user. After obtaining the Service Script and integration into
SysInspector, the user has to select the infected file the script should
be executed on directly from the SysInspector GUI. Users of the
standalone version of SysInspector are able to generate and run Service
Scripts by themselves.
- Main Features: Process and Network Connection Overview This feature
contains detailed information about running applications and processes
as well as a list of processes and programs communicating over the
network using TCP and UDP protocols
- Anti-Stealth Technology: The SysInspector’s integrated Anti-Stealth
technology allows discovering hidden objects (rootkits) in MBR, registry
entries, drivers, services and processes.
- Log Comparison: The SysInspector has the ability to compare two
existing logs. The benefit of this feature is a set of items not common
to both logs.
- Critical Files: This feature displays important system files related to the operating system.
- Drivers: Provides a list of drivers installed in the operating system.
