Wikileaks began on Sunday November 28th publishing 251,287 leaked United
States embassy cables, the largest set of confidential documents ever
to be released into the public domain. The documents will give people
around the world an unprecedented insight into US Government foreign
activities.
After the WikiLeaks.org domain was terminated by EveryDNS.net on Friday,
the organization quickly took steps to reduce its reliance on Internet
infrastructure in the U.S. The very same day, it began using a new
domain name, WikiLeaks.ch, which is owned by The Pirate Party
Switzerland, a group that is apparently sympathetic to the controversial
website. The site seems to face problems with its new hosting provider
and cannot be accessed this Sunday. This archive allows offline browsing
of Wikileaks.ch as per Sat, 04 Dec 2010 18:36:46 GMT (842 cables
published).
